(Post-Bulletin (Rochester, MN) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) June 20--The National Eagle Center recently added four members to its board of directors.

Home to five rescued eagles, the Center offers daily live eagle programs and opportunities to learn about eagles, raptors and the Mississippi River watershed through interpretive programs, interactive exhibits and special events.

Chad Kjorlien is the faculty development coordinator within information technology at Winona State University. Kjorlien is also an enthusiastic outdoorsman and is eager to join the National Eagle Center's efforts to promote environmental education and conservation of our natural resources.

Rochester native Victoria Moore joins the board after retiring from a career with Mayo Clinic, most recently as operations director for Mayo Medical Ventures. Moore now lives in Wabasha, where she has served on the Historic Preservation Commission and currently serves as president of Wabasha Port Authority and Development Agency.

Tim Schlagenhaft is the Community Conservation Coordinator for Audubon, where he focuses on Mississippi River habitat restoration, including restoring floodplain forests, water level management, and island construction. Schlagenhaft spent most of his career with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources based out of Lake City.

A native of Wabasha, John Wodele served three terms as the town's mayor during the 1970s and now resides in Minneapolis. Wodele also serves on the board of the Hiawatha Learning Academy Charter School and was recently appointed by Gov. Mark Dayton to the Commission of Deaf, Blind and Hard of Hearing Minnesotans. He currently serves as vice president for marketing at Doran Companies.
