Toshiba's Wall Motion Tracking Provides Worry-Free Experience with Accurate Analysis of Cardiac Function
PORTLAND, Ore. --(Business Wire)--
To help identify early stages of cardiovascular disease, Toshiba (News - Alert) America
Medical Systems, Inc. will showcase its AplioTM 500 CV, 300
CV and ArtidaTM with Wall Motion Tracking at this year's
American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) annual meeting in Portland,
Ore., June 20-24, 2014 (Booth #307).
The Aplio 500 CV and 300 CV are premier systems for all 2D
cardiovascular exams. The systems feature Toshiba's 2D Wall Motion
Tracking technology, providing exceptional visualization and
quantitative analysis of myocardial wall motion with accuracy and
reproducibility. Through the use of on-board cardiac quantification
measurements in all directions (radial, circumferential, 2D rotation and
longitudinal), Toshiba's Aplio CV systems are designed to provide
comprehensive information at the patient's bedside.
The Aplio Artida is Toshiba's flagship cardiovascular ultrasound system,
offering 3D Wall Motion Tracking software, which provides accurate and
reproducible quantitative analysis of cardiac function. The Artida's
enhanced single-beat 3D acquisition allows physicians to obtain
high-quality 3D images on a wider range of patients, including those
with arrhythmias and shortness of breath.
"Toshiba's ultrasound systems with Wall Motion Tracking are designed to
put customers first, providing clear imaging for improved diagnoses on
every exam," said Tomohiro Hasegawa, director, Ultrasound Business Unit,
Toshiba. "Physicians are given exceptional image quality, which hlps to
identify early stages of cardiac disease for better patient care."
