CallTower Offers Numerous Features That Their Customers Can Use in Their Business Continuity Plan

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) South Jordan, UT (PRWEB) June 19, 2014 CallTower, a leading provider of cloud-based enterprise-class unified communications solutions, announces an expansion of services to assist its customers with robust business continuity solutions. News stories about fires, tornadoes, and other severe weather patterns are far too common place these days. If these headlines have taught organizations anything, it is the importance of having a solid business continuity plan in place. More and more, organizations are asking themselves how they would keep their business functioning during and after these disasters. To help our customers, CallTower has developed multiple business continuity solutions that will keep organizations connected during an outage.

For most organizations, it is crucial to stay connected to customers and employees during a disaster and CallTower's unified communications solutions will facilitate that connectivity. CallTower's hosted services allow organizations to access emails, efax, and voicemail in the cloud, making their essential business communication available any time and place. Displaced employees are able to check emails and voicemail and even answer calls made to their office lines on their mobile device.

CallTower also offers multiple ways for organizations to stay connected even during a carrier interruption. The first and most robust solution is by taking advantage of CallTower's Redundant Circuits provided through multiple carriers. To date, CallTower has substantially expanded its carrier options to 14 different providers (Sprint, AT&T, Level 3, CenturyLink, XO, Windstream, TW Telecom,GTT, Integra, Masergy, Telepacific , Megapath, InterRoute, and Time Warner Cable) offering both a primary and redundant connection into CallTower's data centers. This option is available not only in the US but globally to ensure communication uptime.

To further safeguard organization's voice connectivity, CallTower has recently released two more exciting new products, Managed Voice Continuity and Call Delivery +.

Managed Voice Continuity leverages the value of an existing third-party data circuit by automatically switching the voice traffic from a downed circuit to an alternate Internet data connection. This is a cost effective solution for locations of up to 50 users where a carrier diverse redundant circuit to CallTower is not available.

Call Delivery + is a feature included with all CallTower Cisco users and provides a simple failover solution that is perfect for organizations and remote users. This offering will automatically forward all calls to an alternative line, like a mobile phone, when a phone connection is lost due to a circuit, Internet or power failure. An organization's Administrator can enable this feature by simply going into calltower:connect, CallTower's revolutionary tool which allows organizations the ability to make changes to users, phones, numbers and many more best of breed services.

Managed Voice Connectivity and Call Delivery + expand on the traditional multi-circuit options customers can utilize to obtain high-available connectivity to CallTower's hosted voice platform. CallTower's own data centers rely on a mesh of diverse carriers and circuits to ensure our systems are always available to our customers even during disasters or network outages. Each of our existing data centers in Utah and California are linked to 14 MPLS clouds as well as being interconnected with redundant backbone connections on different carriers. This nationwide voice network provides a solid platform for low-latency, high-availability voice interconnectivity that ensures a stable and robust platform with crystal clear audio quality. As CallTower expands to a third data center on the East coast, the same MPLS mesh connectivity and backbone links will enable additional customers to link to CallTower's voice network locally and expand options for additional carriers.

"We have strengthened our offering," President and CEO of CallTower, Bret England said, "by expanding our network redundancy into and between our data centers. We have completed an independent audit of our network architecture to validate the strength and resiliency of our services. We have expanded our offering of multiple carriers for redundant circuits, Managed Voice Continuity to ensure connection using a non-CallTower provided circuit and ensure call delivery to any device and in any situation with Call Delivery +. Our solutions are stronger than they have ever been."
