GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS BID #627142 1. PURPOSE Stafford County is requesting Bids for the purchase and delivery of one hundred (100) Viper-SC IP Router and Wireless Modem for the Stafford County Department of Utilities 2. LOCATION The equipment will be used for radio transmission of telemetry data in the waste water collection system. One (1) radio will be installed at each of the ninety-four (94) collection sites. 3. TERM OF CONTRACT Any Contract resulting from this Bid solicitation shall be for a period of one (1) year. The Contract may be extended for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods if mutually agreed to by both parties. 4. Stafford County reserves the right to add locations as necessary during the term of this contract, at current pricing, upon agreement between the contractor and the owner. 5. PRODUCTS a. Viper SC IP Router and Wireless Modem (part 120-5018-502) b. VHF 136-174 MHz c. 50/25/12.5/6 25KHz d. Include five foot (5*) power pigtail cable with DC connector 6. CONTRACTOR a. The Contractor shall be a certified CalAmp Elite Level distributor for a minimum of one (1) year (submit certification with response). b. The Contractor shall have a minimum of two (2) field support personnel with Tier 2 Support qualifications located in Virginia with a registered professional engineer on staff. c. The Contractor shall have provided radios for a minimum of five (5) installations often (10) Viper SC IP Router and Wireless Modem (use References).
