It was earlier reported that Samsung was collaborating with Oculus in developing a VR headset, with the Korean manufacturers would be providing the displays while the other party provided software. With little details to go on, the lack of a Galaxy branding suggests that Samsung’s VR headset may not even run Android. While Oculus is targetted towards gamers in general, Samsung is taking aim at a wider audience. Furthermore, Samsung is said to be considering a dockable device that uses an existing smartphone display as the screen.
