AkzoNobel Names Maëlys Castella CFO(dpa-AFX International Compact Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) AMSTERDAM (dpa-AFX) - Dutch paint maker AkzoNobel NV (AKZOY.PK, AKZOY) Tuesday announced that it has appointed Maëlys Castella as its new chief financial officer. She will officially take up the position on September 15. Castella, 47, succeeds Keith Nichols, who had announced his intention to leave the company on January 15, 2014. Ton Büchner will take over CFO responsibilities in the brief transition period. Castella has worked at Air Liquide for the last 14 years, most recently as Group Deputy CFO. Her previous posts there include Europe Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Finance and Treasury Director.
