Sailthru Hires Stephen Dove as Senior Vice President of Product to Drive Innovation in Omnichannel Marketing Platform

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--

Sailthru, the only customer interest-based automated personalization platform, today announced the hire of Stephen Dove as Senior Vice President of Product. With this hire, Sailthru intensifies its commitment to customer lifetime experience through the expansion of its marketing automation platform. Dove's hire underscores the company's history of innovation and focus on constant improvement, as well as its ongoing growth and expansion in the enterprise marketing automation space.

"Sailthru has great problems like the fact that its employees and customers are equally brilliant, continuously challenging each other to excel, and a platform that's so powerful it could be used to solve hundreds, if not thousands of different challenges facing marketers today. I'm excited to work with the team to evolve our platform at the pace expected of our commerce and media clients," said Stephen Dove, Senior Vice President of Product. "My first move is to streamline the planning and development process, and optimize the effectiveness of the enormously talented team responsible for Sailthru's rapid success."

Dove brings over fourteen years of leadership experience to Sailthru. Prior to joining Sailthru, he served as the Senior Vice President at Medialets, a third-party ad server and platform exclusively for mobile, where he led all product initiatives and development, while optimizing the entire mobile advertising process for premium brans and agencies. Before joining Medialets, Dove was Prisa TV's Chief Digital Officer in Spain, where he launched an online streaming video content service for Spanish subscription-based television channel Canal+.

Prior to Prisa TV, Dove worked for ten years as a product manager at DoubleClick, including during and after its acquisition by Google (News - Alert). In that time, Dove primarily owned two products, DFP and DFA. In addition to his time at Google, Dove also spent ten months assisting New York City's Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications as Director of Program Management.

"Stephen joining Sailthru's executive team rightly positions product innovation even more strongly within our leadership's priorities. He brings unparalleled experience to Sailthru, and his ability to lead a variety of teams in planning and development will accelerate the solutions offered within our customer-centric platform. The absolute best products are necessary as we enable marketers to go beyond campaigns and drive value through a user-centric mentality," said Neil Capel, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Sailthru. "Stephen's expertise is invaluable as we explore new product opportunities to add to our platform that will continue to drive up customer lifetime experience and value for all of our clients."
