USB-FXS Adapter Joins USB-FXO in AMFELTEC'S Telecom-Oriented Piranha USB Adapters(TM) Family(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MARKHAM, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 05/28/14 -- Amfeltec Corporation, a leading provider of complex and innovative solutions for the world's diverse electronics markets, announced today that the second product of Amfeltec's Piranha USB Adapter family, the USB-FXS Adapter, is now in full production. The Piranha family presently consists of two products: the USB-FXS and USB-FXO adapters. Identical to the Piranha USB-FXO adapter in physical appearance, the USB-FXS adapter is miniature, and is designed to be a part of the cable; it is installed between the analog telephone and the appropriate USB port of your PBX. The latest Asterisk® software is respected: the USB- FXS has native support for DAHDI 2.9; it can be easily placed on systems such as FreePBX & Elastix.
