InterContinental Bali Resort Selects Ubiquiti to Support Wireless Connectivity for Its Five-Star Luxury Hotel(GlobeNewswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) SAN JOSE, Calif., May 20, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ubiquiti Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:UBNT), a next-generation communications technology company, today announced that the InterContinental Bali Resort has selected Ubiquiti products to provide superior wireless Internet access to guests across its 44-acre complex. The InterContinental Bali Resort is one of the island's most popular resorts, a five-star award-winning property with a pool and spa as well as 417 rooms, suites, and luxury accommodations, all of which are fully outfitted with free WiFi. The resort currently employs 146 UniFi APs and 10 UniFi outdoor units to keep their network running. Because the building is difficult to outfit with wired Internet, the UniFi solution offers the perfect alternative to extensive cabling. The UniFi controller feature also allows the IT staff to monitor the network from a single central location and track the areas with the highest data demands, determining where they should expand their network so they can continue to offer guests the best service possible.
