CMMS Software with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) North Bend, Oregon (PRWEB) May 11, 2014 MaintSmart CMMS Software version 4.1 is available effective May 9, 2014. This CMMS software package sets itself apart from all the competition with Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Microsoft Project style scheduler, military standard reliability analysis, extensive Excel export and analysis capability and drag and drop data cube analysis that is so simple a child could use it. Feedback from new customers has been encouraging: "Your product has a lot to offer, likely more than we will ever need. When compared to the other products we looked at, MaintSmart, is competitively priced, well designed, and delivers quality information. We have selected MaintSmart as our CMMS." - EPL feed, LLC, Washington, U.S.A.

This CMMS software has all of the tools needed to effectively manage any equipment maintenance operation. Manufacturing, food processing, hospitals, government (including military and Department of Homeland Security), schools and hospitality industry all benefit from using MaintSmart CMMS. Power generation facilities also are currently a major MaintSmart CMMS user worldwide.

Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) has been lacking in CMMS software offerings until now. The OEE capability included with MaintSmart provides several key performance indicators (KPI) such as performance, availability and quality. Performance compares how well the company equipment should be running to how well it is running. This helps to identify bottlenecks and areas for equipment maintenance improvement. Most importantly, this KPI takes into account equipment break down time. Use the performance KPI with the reliability analysis feature as a guide for optimized preventive maintenance task lists. The Quality component of OEE measures good product versus total product. This KPI guides equipment maintenance practices and manufacturing quality. The Availability component provides an objective value for equipment available running time with equipment breakdowns and breaks considered. All components of OEE display as a percentage.

The final roll-up value, OEE, is the product of all the components. This OEE value provides a general sense of the effectiveness of the company preventive equipment maintenance program and may be charted and further analyzed with the CMMS. Export this data directly to Excel with two button-clicks.

For simple drag and drop schedules, use the new Microsoft Project style scheduler for scheduling work orders and preventive maintenance. The schedules are flexible and may be fixed, floating or rotating schedules. New reporting includes percent completion rate for preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance reports are filtered by plant, technician, process, line, area or individual equipment item. Preventive maintenance completion reports may contain easy to read charts and grouped statistics for each grouping level.

Also included in the new version is the ability to set up approvers for completed work orders. This feature meets several auditing agencies requirements and opens the opportunity to expand MaintSmart's user base even further. One or more approvals may be required if users elect to implement this feature. All functions, features, reporting and analysis tools are included in this CMMS with no extra modules to have to purchase later. There are no required reoccurring costs and email support is always free. Optional phone support is available too.

This CMMS package is completely translatable into any language and is widely used in the Americas, Middle East, Russia and over thirty other countries around the world.
