Mozilla updates Firefox OS for mobile devices to version 1.3(United News of Bangladesh Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Dhaka, May 9 (UNB) Alternative operating system Firefox OS 1.3 has been released by Mozilla to its smartphone partners. Key among the improvements in the update are dual-SIM dual-standby support, giving two lines on compatible phones, and improvements to the camera, including continuous autofocus in addition to flash support. Firefox OS is a Linux kernel-based open-source operating system for devices including phones and tablets. It is being developed by Mozilla, the non-profit organization best known for the Firefox web browser. Other fixes include faster scrolling, faster app startup, adaptive search, support for RTSP, asm.js and WebGL support, smart collections, and music controls from the lock screen. -electronista |
