Exact to Host the "Exact Macola Evolve Walks for Autism Speaks" Fundraiser Walk on Tuesday, May 13 in Columbus

Exact, a trusted advisor and a leading provider of ERP business solutions for small-to medium-sized (SMB) manufacturing and distribution companies, will host the "Exact Macola Evolve Walks for Autism Speaks" physical and virtual 5k fundraiser walk at its Columbus, Ohio offices on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00am ET.

To date, the initiative has raised over $7,700 for Autism Speaks. Exact will contribute an additional $5,000 match for a total of nearly $13,000.

In recognition of Autism Awareness Month in April, and in connection with its customer conference, Exact Macola Evolve, held April 22 - 25, 2014, Exact has encouraged its employees, customers and partners to participate in raising funds to benefit Autism Speaks' technology initiatives which provide iPads and other devices to children and adults with autism. The fundraiser wal has garnered participation from participants throughout the United States and internationally.

Additional fundraising activities included a social media fundraiser during the Exact Macola Evolve customer conference in Grapevine, Texas, in which attendees were challenged to tweet using the hashtag #ExactMacolaEvolve, with $1 donated to Autism Speaks for every tweet.

The physical walk will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00am ET on the 1-mile track around the Exact offices at 8800 Lyra Drive in Columbus. Participants who are not located in Columbus will take part in a virtual walk, and are encouraged to tweet photos of their walk using the hashtag #ExactMacolaEvolve.
