Harris Computer Corporation (Advanced), is excited to announce that the City of Edmond (the City) has selected Advanced's flagship customer information and billing system, CIS Infinity, along with Infinity.

The City is located just north of Oklahoma City and is home to a population of over 87,000 residents. As the sixth largest City in the state, Edmond operates a multi-service utility providing electric, water, wastewater, solid waste and drainage services to its 37,000 customers. The City marks Advanced's first implementation in the state of Oklahoma.

During the fall of 2012, the City released its request for proposal to industry software providers and conducted a comprehensive procurement process. As Linda Courtight, Utility Customer Service Director, mentions, 'We searched for a CIS product that could handle the billing processes for all 5 of our major service components. During our search, importance was placed on finding a solution that would improve customer service, efficiency, and allow for the expansion of our future automation projects. Our evaluation process included RFP responses, reference calls, site visits and discussions with Advanced. Throughout the process it was clear that CIS Infinity was the best fit for our initial step in the advancement of technology for the City of Edmond.' With the implementation of CIS Infinity, the City will achieve its main goals of improving overall customer service, optimizing their technology investments, enhancing reporting capabilities and implementing automated workflows. Along with CIS Infinity, the City will implement the complementary solutions Infinity.Link for online customer self-service and Infinity.Mobile for automated service order functionality.

'We are very excited to welcome our first client in the state of Oklahoma,' Peter Fanous, Executive Vice President for Advanced notes. 'The City has an excellent project team who we are very excited to partner with. As well, the City's multi-service utility is a great fit for CIS Infinity and our suite of CIS solutions.' The Advanced team has kicked off the implementation and the project is well underway.
