BRIEF: Opelika, Ala. police seek thieves in $7,000 theft [Columbus Ledger-Enquirer :: ]


(Columbus Ledger-Enquirer (GA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) May 02--Opelika, Ala., police are looking for three thieves who took $7,039 worth of electronics from Best Buy on Tiger Town Parkway.

Police said the thefts occurred sometime between 12:09 p.m. and 12:31 p.m. on April 21 at 2147 Tiger Town Parkway. Items stolen from store shelves include four cameras, three camcorders, four computer tablets, two Mac books, one iPad and a Kindle.



Police have no information on a vehicle description but have photographs from video surveillance.

All three suspects, two women and a man, were described as black. The first one is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She was wearing a red printed scrub top and blue scrub pants.


The second woman is 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She was wearing a white jacket, blue polo-style shirt and blue pants. The man is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He was wearing a brown plaid shirt and blue jeans.
