CareerBliss analyzed more than 25,000 independent company reviews to determine which jobs are giving young professionals the most career-related happiness. CareerBliss data finds that overwhelmingly, jobs associated with the STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) continue to set the bar for happiness, especially those in software development. After analyzing job data for years, CareerBliss co-founder Heidi Golledge is a big believer in STEM education as well as its cousin, STEAM, which includes Art along with STEM to give students a well-rounded education as well as happier and more fulfilling career choices. Ranking first on the 2014 list are java developers, programmers who use a specific language associated with client-server web applications. Following java developers are embedded software engineers, who help program the embedded software in the electronics and other devices.
