Intigua Extends Virtual Platform to Support Popular IT Management Tools

NEWTON, Mass. --(Business Wire)--

Intigua™, the first company to virtualize the IT management stack, has extended its virtual management platform with additional support for key configuration, backup, security and monitoring tools from the industry's leading vendors. By offering out-of-the-box integrations with these products, Intigua makes it even easier to ensure that workloads across cloud and legacy environments are properly managed and fully comply with corporate policies.

"Managing IT environments is incredibly complex and only getting more so, with the average enterprise IT team now using a dozen different tools to track and manage thousands of VMs on-site and in private/public cloud data centers," said Shimon Hason, CEO of Intigua. "The more tools the Intigua Platform supports, the more effective our customers will be in managing this very dynamic and growing set of resources. That's why we designed the platform to make it easy to integrate with any tool in the IT management stack."

Intigua is the only automation platform that provides centralized, policy-based provisioning, configuration and ongoing management of an enterprise's entire management stack. The company virtualizes management tools to integrate with the Intigua platform, and also gives users the ability to package their own custom or off-the-shelf tools using the recently announced "Intigua Self-Packager."

Today, Intigua added the following applications to the list of tools it has certified:

  • Support for the latest versions of Symantec NetBackup, Splunk, EMC (News - Alert) Networker, Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) . Intigua also supports earlier versions of these products.
  • New support for Microsoft (News - Alert) System Center Endpoint Protection (SCEP), Microsoft Forefront, CA eHealth SystemEDGE and Sumo Logic.
