McAfee Assigned Patent(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 24 -- McAfee, Santa Clara, Calif., has been assigned a patent (8,706,576) developed by five co-inventors for a "system, method and computer program product for performing one or more maintenance tasks on a remotely located computer connected to a server computer via a data network." The co-inventors are Chandrasekar Balasubramaniam, Sunnyvale, Calif., Ravi Kannan, Sunnyvale, Calif., Siddaraya Basappa Revashetti, Pune, India, Srivats Sampath, San Jose, Calif., and Babu Katchapalayam, Santa Clara, Calif. The patent application was filed on Nov. 6, 2008 (12/266,413).
