WE HAVE A CLIENT-FOCUSSED STRATEGY, SAYS TCS' CHANDRA

(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) N Chandrasekaran, the chief executive officer of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), has stated that the company has a very simple strategy that is client focused and client centric, and is aimed at growing faster than the rest of the information technology industry. TCS is India's largest software services company with revenue of around $13.4 billion. The company is mining more accounts and it's over $100 million customers have grown to 24 from 17 a year ago. The company expects to continue growing at a rapid pace and beat the 13-15 percent growth in exports projected for 2014-2015 by the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM). Chandrasekaran has added that the growth will come from a broad-based sales engine with the autonomy to focus on client needs and through account mining. TCS has crossed revenue of $1.5 billion or Rs9,100 crore in its infrastructure management services business and Chandrasekaran expects to see leading growth in that business.
