Tip Underwood Joins Attain as Managing Director

Attain, LLC, a leading management, technology and strategy consulting firm, today announced that Tip Underwood has joined the consultancy as a managing director within its Federal Services division. He will report to Manish Agarwal, partner and Federal Services division president. In his new role, Mr. Underwood will be responsible for leading Attain's National Security Practice and growing the firm's business with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and its agencies.

"Tip brings nearly 20 years of public sector industry experience, and in particular, significant national security expertise, to Attain," said Agarwal. "We look forward to his leadership as we continue to accelerate the growth of Attain's Federal Services division."

Before joining Attain, Mr. Underwood was the vice president and deputy general manager of the Systems Engineering and Information Solutions (SEIS) group at URS Corporation. He previously served a senior vice president of federal civilian and healthcare solutions at Apptis, Inc., responsible for programs within the national security, healthcare, and financial and regulatory agency markets. He also was a partner within the Customs and Border Security practice at Unisys (News - Alert) Corporation, where he left the company as vice president and general manager of sales and management support.
