No longer simply a place to backup or store your stuff, it now says it will be "your home for life" (as long as you keep paying for it and assuming you use more than the 2GB of space you get for free). It's also expanding into apps: there's now an app called Carousel (www.carousel.com) that automatically backs up photos from your smartphone to Dropbox, and turns them into a shareable online gallery.
