Hitachi Data Systems Assigned Patent(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 17 -- Hitachi Data Systems, Santa Clara, Calif., has been assigned a patent (8,700,571) developed by five co-inventors for a "system and method for optimizing protection levels when replicating data in an object storage system."
