United States : STATE DEPARTMENT awards $4.7 MILLION task order to RAYTHEON for cyber-protection support [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The State Department declared that it has awarded a $4.7 million task order to Raytheon Oakley Systems to continue support of the Raytheon InnerView software.

It is informed that the task order was a sole-source award because of proprietary information needed to keep on operation of the InnerView security monitoring infrastructure required to support mission-critical systems.

As per the order, Raytheon Oakley will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the State Department s systems while developing and establishing enhanced security features designed to minimize network vulnerability to intrusion.

The work is based on a department mandate for a proactive cyber threat management capability which raises the security classified networks and information.
