Solaris Power Cells Debuts First Vape Mod Focus Forum

(Newsfile Press Release Wire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Palm Springs, California--(Newsfile Corp. - April 15, 2014) - Solaris Power Cells, Inc. the creators of the Solaris SMART-CELL "Passive Electron Storage Array" ™, (the "Company") (OTCQB: SPCL) (Germany WKN: A1W9W5) is pleased to announce the conclusion of our first Passive Electron Storage Array™ (PESA™) powered Electronic Cigarette marketing forum held at The Vapor Store located in downtown Palm Springs, California.

Demonstrating the versatility of our Rapid Recharge Solaris Power Cells (PESA™) E-Vapor Device was Solaris Senior Storage Scientist, Anthony Givens. "Customers were introduced for the first time to a battery free product with higher performance characteristics that never needs replacement and can burn both hotter and safer eliminating 6-8 hour recharge delays is so important to customer!" said Anthony Givens Solaris Power Cells Senior Storage Scientist.

A majority of rebuild atomizer users said they would use a PESA powered device as long as the size was comparable to their current set up and if the price wasn’t too much more. ‘Too much more’ was not quantified do to the wide range of prices for the current vapor mod market. Only thirty three percent said they would be willing to spend around $100 dollars on an aftermarket charger that could charge the unit, from empty to full, in under 60 seconds and 100% of those surveyed said that the ability to charge in under 10 minutes with a micro-USB would persuade them to buy a vapor mod as long as performance was equal. Solaris will now proceed with the second version of its PESA powered e-cigarette vapor mod prototype which will include a much smaller case and a micro-USB adaptor for charging.

A Vapor Mod is typically larger than a traditional e-cigarette that you find at a gas station and gives the consumer many more options as it pertains to vapor output, nicotine levels, fragrance and flavors. As of October of last year, Bloomberg BusinessWeek reported that there were over 3,500 brick and mortar electronic vapor shops in the United States.

The industry is growing rapidly due to the successful branding campaign as the safest and most satisfying alternative to traditional cigarettes. Not only does their ingredient list not include the hundreds of dangerous chemicals found in cigarettes, but they offer a much more psychologically satisfying experience than nicotine patches, or gum by allowing the user to mimic the act of actually smoking.

According to Business Insider and Bloomberg, forecasts show electronic cigarette’s having a 3 billion dollar market segment by 2015 with sales reaching more than $10 billion by the year 2017.

"The Solaris PESA™ Powered Electronic Cigarette Vapor device is just one of the many traditional Battery-Free Energy Storage Solutions Solaris Power Cells will produce very soon in this exciting ever expanding market!" said Solaris Power Cells President, Lenny Caprino.

This unique combination of features makes for a product that can be marketable to the casual vaporizer user and the self-proclaimed professionals alike. The Solaris PESA™ powered Electronic Cigarette Vapor Mod will also offer a solution to the current industry issues with batteries. Rechargeable vaporizer batteries retail for 10 to 30 dollars apiece. Most of the high end mods require two of the 2000mAh batteries which individually take about 10 hours to charge from a normal house outlet or standard USB Port. Batteries are prone to degradation and need to be replaced multiple times per year with normal use of the vaporizer. Our PESA™ system will charge rapidly, last for well over ten years with normal daily usage and recharging, and be able to handle the type of current outputs that the high end vaporizer users want, without the risk of chemical thermal runaway. In other words, a normal battery can take hours to recharge, whereas our product can recharge in significantly less time compared to similar voltage storage capacity. A typical battery has a lifespan of typically 500 charge and discharge cycles, whereas the Solaris Power Cells can have towards 500,000 charge and discharge cycles.
