MRV COMMUNICATIONS INC FILES (8-K) Disclosing Change in Directors or Principal Officers(Edgar Glimpses Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers On April 10, 2014, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of MRV Communications, Inc. (the "Company") appointed David Stehlin, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, to serve as a director of the Company. Mr. Stehlin fills a vacancy created by an increase in the size of the Board from four to five. Mr. Stehlin's term will expire at the next annual meeting of stockholders. There are no arrangements or understandings between Mr. Stehlin and any other persons pursuant to which he was appointed as a director of the Company. Mr. Stehlin has not been named to any committee of the Board. There are no transactions between Mr. Stehlin and the Company that would require disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
