Synodex Names Stephen Talnose as Lead Executive for Sales and Account Management

(Thomson Reuters ONE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) NEW YORK, April 10, 2014 - INNODATA INC. (NASDAQ: INOD) announced today that Stephen Talnose has joined Innodata's Synodex subsidiary where he will lead sales and account management. Talnose, who will be reporting directly to Jack Abuhoff, Chairman and CEO of Innodata, succeeds Sam Jensen who will be focusing primarily on business development for Innodata and its subsidiaries.

Talnose comes to Synodex with 20+ years of experience in sales and account management in the insurance and financial services industries.  He joins Synodex following a 10-year career at Infosys McCamish, a subsidiary of the BPO arm of Infosys (NYSE: INFY) and provider of insurance business process solutions and platforms. At Infosys McCamish, Talnose led sales of VPAS® Life and was instrumental in driving a three-fold revenue increase and signing several multi- year contracts ranging from $20 million to $110 million in value with prominent life insurance companies.

Prior to Infosys McCamish, Stephen held vice president of sales positions with both NaviSys (a provider of software and services to 17 of the top 20 North American life insurance carriers at the time of its 2006 acquisition by Accenture) and The Leverage Group (a provider of software and services to the life insurance annuity industry acquired in 1998 by Cybertek, now part of CSC (NYSE: CSC)).

"In the last few weeks, I've had meetings with a number of Synodex's high profile client prospects as well as other industry players," said Talnose. "I'm excited by how they are describing our service as one of the most significant technology innovations they've seen in the industry over the past several years." "Steve brings extensive industry experience, a reputation for client focus and a track record of success", said Abuhoff.
