SPRINGFIELD, Pa. --(Business Wire)--

Noble Health Alliance today announced the appointment of Patrick R. Young as the company's Executive Chairman of the Board. Noble Health Alliance was formed in 2013 by Abington Health, Aria (News - Alert) Health, Crozer-Keystone Health System, and Einstein Healthcare Network to improve the health of communities by building a clinically integrated network of high quality, highly efficient healthcare. Mr. Young most recently served as president of Aetna's Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia markets.

Mr. Young began his career in health insurance with Aetna, rising through a series of increasingly responsible positions within the insurer's Pennsylvania, Delaware, and southern New Jersey markets. In 2006 he was named president for Pennsylvania-Delaware-West Virginia for Aetna. In this role, he had overall responsibility for sales, network contracting, product development, and relationships with business leaders and elected officials.

The founding members of Noble Health Alliance-Abington Health, Aria Health, Crozer-Keystone Health System and Einstein Healthcare Network-encompass 15 hospitals and more than 4,600 physicians and other providers serving the five-county southeastern Pennsylvania region.
