Axis Communications: Axis AB: Axis Reports Preliminary Financial Results for the First QuarterSTOCKHOLM --(Business Wire)-- Regulatory News: Axis (News - Alert) AB (STO:AXIS): As a result of lower sales during the second half of March, the operating profit for the first quarter will be weaker than expected. Axis' sales may have significant quarterly fluctuations as a result of the company's indirect sales model. Axis' sales for the first quarter is expected to be SEK 1,129 M (982), representing a growth of 15 per cent compared to the same period last year. Operating profit for the period is expected to be SEK 72 M (89). Axis had a continued high rate in recruitment to secure the opportunity to take advantage of future growth in the market.
