Software-Defined Networks to Take Center Stage at 'TIA 2014: Network of the Future'(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ARLINGTON, Va., April 3 -- The Telecommunications Industry Association issued the following news release: Software-defined networks (SDN) will be a major focus at TIA 2014: the Network of the Future, held June 3-5 in Dallas, Texas. TIA today announced the emphasis being placed on SDN during the Network of the Future Conference: * TIA will devote one of three conference educational tracks to "Software-Defined Everything." Software defined networks (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) are seen as disruptive, transformative technologies that are revolutionizing the ICT industry.
