Computer Modelling Group Hires Anjani Kumar as VP, Consulting, Support and Training [Professional Services Close - Up](Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Computer Modelling Group announced the promotion of Anjani Kumar to Vice President, Consulting, Support and Training, effective April 1. According to a release, since joining CMG in 2005 as Reservoir Simulation Engineer, and with his promotion to Manager, Consulting, Support and Training in 2009, Kumar has taken ever-increasing responsibility, demonstrated exceptional commitment and upheld high standards in supporting CMG's customers in every aspect of his position. With more than 13 years of reservoir engineering experience both in the field and at CMG, Kumar is an expert in heavy oil recovery processes, chemical EOR and unconventional oil and gas reservoir simulation. Kumar has authored several technical papers, serves on the editorial committee of The Journal of Canadian Petroleum Technology and on the Charles F. Rand International gold medal award committee of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. "First as a member of the CST team and then as its leader, Anjani has played a key role in developing a team of professionals that has led to CMG's business growth including increased consulting projects, customer training classes and exceptional software support," said Ken Dedeluk, President and Chief Executive Officer.
