ATCi Supplies Turn-Key Satellite Content Aggregation System for IPTV Networks in Latin America [Professional Services Close - Up]

(Professional Services Close - Up Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Antenna Technology Communications, a provider of satellite and digital communications systems, announced from the Satellite 2014 Conference being held in Washington D.C., its complete all- inclusive turn-key satellite content aggregation system for IPTV networks in Latin America.

According to a release, the complete harvesting solution includes the Simulsat multibeam antenna, L-band fiberoptic links for transport into the headend, RF detection for LNB status, L-Band Matrix Switch to route and distribute signals to receivers, an embedded spectrum analyzer for monitoring each signal, proprietary M & C software that provides total monitoring capabilities of each individual signal path. It reports the current health of each LNB, fiber transmitter, and fiber receiver as well as full matrix control.

ATCi's President Gary Hatch noted that the company's satellite transport system has been specifically engineered to allow media operators valid options to monetize their content for these expanding OTT opportunities.

"Return on investment through this unique system really helps these operators deliver their clients' content for what they want when they want it and how they want to receive it, said Gary Hatch, ATCi's President. "We are proud to be part of this exciting media value chain innovation," Hatch concluded.
