Utilidata Names Siobhan MacDermott as Chief Information Security Officer

customers, announced today that Siobhan MacDermott has joined the firm
as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Based at Utilidata's
Providence, R.I., headquarters, Ms. MacDermott is responsible for
overseeing the company's information technology and product security
programs, and ensuring that Utilidata's products and processes are
developed with the challenges of 21st century cyber security

An industry veteran with an authoritative voice on the security topic,
Ms. MacDermott most recently served as Chief Policy Officer of AVG
Technologies (NYSE: AVG) and is a former executive at Intel (News - Alert) Security
(formerly McAfee Security). In addition to her global policy experience,
she has authored three
books on cyber security and is currently working on a fourth.

the Vice Chair of the Fund for Peace.
