A.M. BestTV: The Week Ahead; Insurers Make Inroads in Mobile

OLDWICK, N.J. --(Business Wire)--

This episode of A.M. BestTV looks at progress insurers are making in reaching consumers and business users via mobile, including data from The World Insurance Report 2014 from Capgemini (News - Alert) and Efmai. The report, which assessed the digital capabilities of more than 250 insurers in 14 countries, found that just 32% of global insurance customers said they had positive customer experiences with their insurer, and that nearly 70% of customers remain at risk of switching carriers. Babu Mauze, vice president of digital transformation solutions for Capgemini Financial Services, said that in five years, insurers expect about 30% of their business to be generated from internet and mobile channels as they become more important to insurance consumers.
