The entry-level IXUS 150 and IXUS 145 are aimed at budding photographers, with easy-to-use shooting modes and creative filters. Built using Canon's leading optical expertise, the new IXUS cameras are designed to help photographers capture sharp images with minimal fuss. The IXUS 155 comes with a high-resolution sensor, 10x optical zoom and 20x ZoomPlus. The IXUS 150 and IXUS 145 both use a 16-megapixel sensor and 8x optical zoom. "For super-steady pictures and sharp detail even when you're in a crowd of friends, the svelte IXUS 155 and IXUS 150 feature Canon's advanced optical Image Stabilizer with Intelligent IS technology," Canon said in statement. The units automatically select from eight different scenarios, such as the Powered IS option that steadies movie footage when shooting in high zoom on the move.
