Intellinote Expands Executive Team to Drive Marketing and Business Development Initiatives

RESTON, Va. --(Business Wire)--

Intellinote, a cloud workspace for individuals and teams to get work done, today announced the appointment of Mohan Kompella as Vice President of Product Marketing and Ronen Vengosh as Vice President of Alliances and Business Development. Kompella and Vengosh bring extensive B2B technology marketing and business development experience to support Intellinote's rapid growth.

Intellinote recently announced a $4.3 Million Series A funding round, which included funds to expand staff. The addition of these key senior marketing and business development positions will enable Intellinote to further its efforts to bring on new partners, help users and organizations understand Intellinote's value proposition and grow market share.

"Companies are increasingly looking to help their employees get work done quickly, easily and collaboratively," said Tony Lopresti, CEO of Intellinote. "As Intellinote expands rapidly to meet that need, we are very pleased to welcome Mohan and Ronen to the team. We're confident that adding new and innovative minds will cultivate our marketing and business development initiatives to contribute to not only the success of Intellinote, but to the productivity of current and future Intellinote users."

Both Kompella and Vengosh are seasoned executives with extensive business development, corporate development and marketing experience. Prio to Intellinote, Kompella was the VP of Strategy and Technology at Softential, a consulting and systems integration firm that focuses on Fortune 1000 and other Enterprise clients. Over his career, he has held a series of leadership roles in engineering, operations, sales enablement, marketing and business development. Kompella has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Madras in India.

"Today's distributed and always-on workforce needs a better way to collaborate and stay organized than emails and notes. While there are some tools out there that can help, their specialized nature actually ends up raising the barriers to productivity. Because Intellinote elegantly brings together everything that most professionals need in one single, easy-to-use package, it can transform how work gets done. I'm very excited to be a part of Intellinote's growth trajectory," says Kompella.

Vengosh joins Intellinote from PureWave Networks, where he served as VP of Marketing and Business Development and was responsible for engaging and nurturing strategic accounts, led the marketing team and drove corporate development efforts. Before joining PureWave, Vengosh led the North America marketing and market development team at Alvarion (News - Alert) Inc. and practiced corporate law at FBC & Co. He holds a law degree from Tel-Aviv University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA.

"Intellinote is at a pivotal moment in its history. It addresses a clear, unmet need for individuals and teams everywhere, and strategic partnerships are key to amplifying the reach and communicating that value to a much wider audience. I am very pleased to have the opportunity to join Intellinote to drive those initiatives forward," adds Vengosh.
