WestJet's Global Web Presence Takes Off with HP Autonomy

(ENP Newswire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) ENP Newswire - 18 March 2014 Release date- 17032014 - PALO ALTO, Calif.- HP Autonomy today announced that WestJet, Canada's most preferred airline, has selected HP Autonomy's Marketing Optimization suite to deliver an engaging, relevant, and intuitive web experience.

With more than 9,800 employees and over 85 destinations in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and Europe, WestJet continues to expand its operations and business. In order to support ongoing growth, the airline recently embarked on a web re-platforming initiative to better serve its increasing volume of consumer, business, and travel agent customers.

After an extensive evaluation with several vendors, WestJet replaced its legacy Web Content Management solution with HP Autonomy's Marketing Optimization suite, based on the technology's ability to deliver dynamic, targeted content and overall ease-of-use for its marketers. Additionally, WestJet valued the open, scalable nature of the HP Autonomy suite, which allows the marketing organization to easily combine assets from its various web properties without the need for daily IT support.

The company has recently completed an initial rollout of HP TeamSite, HP LiveSite, HP OpenDeploy and HP MediaBin to populate one of its heavy traffic digital platforms with a wide range of content, including images, social media, mobile content, and more.
