Previously, he was vice president, sales for SMA America, a leading German company in the photo voltaic inverter industry. Before that, he was director of global sales at Emcore after holding senior engineering positions at several other companies, including IBM. He holds a Master's degree in business administration from Columbia Business School, dual BS degrees in chemical engineering from Clarkson University, and a BA degree in chemistry from State University of New York at Potsdam.
