High eMotion announces reseller agreement with Purple WiFi

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) High eMotion has announced a reseller agreement with Purple WiFi, the cloud-based Social WiFi software company, which will see the addition of cloud-based guest WiFi, Presence Analytics and Location Based Services to its portfolio of products.

High eMotion located in Bacau, Romania is working with its partners to build one of the largest WiFi networks in Romania. Over the next 4 months a total of 40 cities throughout Romania will have access to free WiFi, which will be built using the Purple WiFi cloud-based solution. In addition, a total of 510 further locations will be added, including small venues, shopping centers and metro stations in Bucharest.

Purple WiFi provides businesses with enterprise guest WiFi that meets legal compliance requirements. It also serves demographic and engagement information from users to the venue through its Purple Portal, which allows the business to understand who is visiting and using the hotspot, how long they are online, as well as their age, gender and any other relevant information that they offer in their social networking profile.

The guests log into the secure hotspot system using social media authentication, via networks such as Facebook or Twitter. The user also has the option to login by completing a short form if preferred, which in turn generates valuable segmented data for the business and an engagement tool to promote relevant offers to the WiFi users and their wider social community.

Commenting on the agreement, Gavin Wheeldon, CEO at Purple WiFi said: "High eMotion has a large network of resellers which enables Purple WiFi to increase its sales reach. High eMotion is a well-known brand in the industry and our strategy continues to be focused around working with trusted names to ensure WiFi users can access reliable and free WiFi while the business customers get something back in return.

"Purple WiFi's management and development team has built a reliable solution which we see as the backbone of what we want to offer to our clients," adds Ovidiu Coarea Managing Director, "we strongly believe we will exceed our expectations for 2014 by leveraging this solution, and offer our customers a true value proposition." Wheeldon adds: "Purple WiFi has grown in popularity at a phenomenal rate, simply because it enables businesses to provide the free WiFi that is demanded by their guests while delivering legal compliance and easy set up. It generates 'likes' and 'follows' for the venue without the need for a big marketing budget and serves valuable information to help implement a solid, end-to-end customer communications process."
