Senator Stabenow Announces New Communications Director

Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., issued the following news release: U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow today named Josh Dorner as her Communications Director. Dorner replaces Cullen Schwarz, who is now Press Secretary at USDA.



Before joining Sen. Stabenow's office, Josh was Director of Communications and Advocacy for the Center for American Progress Action Fund and the Director of Communications for the Center for American Progress. Before joining CAP and CAP Action, he spent four years heading up communications strategy and media for all of the Sierra Club's energy and climate change work, as well as its other federal legislative campaigns and political work.

Dorner also served as deputy communications director at the Clean Energy Works campaign. Josh began his career working at a public relations firm that primarily served nonprofits. He graduated from Grinnell College with honors degrees in political science and French and also holds a Master of Science in European politics and governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
