Mel continues, "Building on the success of the low phase noise, high stability M61x Stratum 3 and low g-sensitivity M616x, we've pushed the crystal finishing process further to allow the same performance but twice as small: in a 3.2 x 5 mm package." The M617x Stratum 3 TCXO is shipping to internet communication equipment makers today with ±0.34 ppm 24-hour stability - including all disturbing effects, unlike some of its competition. The M618x TCXO for portable applications offers stability down to ±0.1 ppm for 0 °C to +70 °C and ±0.2 ppm for -40 °C to +85 °C. Both devices have very low ~ 1 ppb/g g-sensitivity to insure secure data channels remain in lock-step under vibration or physical shock.
