Aruba Networks Appoints Karl Soderlund as Vice President, Worldwide Channels


SUNNYVALE, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Aruba Networks (News - Alert), Inc. (NASDAQ: ARUN), today announced the appointment of seasoned channel executive Karl Soderlund as vice president of worldwide channels. Reporting to Aruba Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales John DiLullo, Soderlund will be responsible for recruitment, developing global alliances and managing Aruba's international distribution structure for partner training, enablement, and pre-sales support.

Soderlund joins Aruba from voice/data networking solutions manufacturer Avaya (News - Alert), where he was vice president of Americas channel sales. Before Avaya, Soderlund held executive sales and global alliances positions at Certeon, Hewlett-Packard, Fortinet, Extreme Networks, and Cisco Systems (News - Alert). Throughout the course of his career, Soderlund has received numerous awards from channel publications and organizations for his work supporting partners.
