Dialog Semiconductor (News - Alert) (FWB: DLG), a provider of highly integrated innovative power management, audio, AC/DC, LED solid state lighting and short range wireless technologies, today announces it has appointed with effect 7 March, former Virgin Media (News - Alert) CFO, Eamonn O'Hare as non-executive Director.

Mr O'Hare has spent over two decades as CFO of some of the world's fastest growing consumer and technology businesses. From 2009 to 2013, he was CFO and main board member of the UK's leading entertainment and communications business, Virgin Media Inc. From 2005 to 2009 Mr O'Hare served as the UK CFO for one of the world's largest retailers, Tesco plc. Before joining Tesco he was CFO and Board Director at Energis Communications and led the successful turnaround of this high profile UK telecoms company. Prior to this Mr O'Hare spent ten years at PepsiCo Inc. in a series of senior executive roles in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Eamonn has extensive experience as a Chief Financial Officer and board member in many leading consumer facing and technology orientated businesses and brings a wealth of relevant business and financial expertise to Dialog Semiconductor.
