Preloaded with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, Surface 2 takes only two hours to reach full charge, and the battery can last up to 10 hours. For users looking for productivity tools, the tablet is preloaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 RT and Outlook 2013 RT. Microsoft will be bringing in the spill-resistant Touch Cover 2 keyboard in black finishing as well as backlit-enabled Type Cover 2 keyboard in four colour variations: Black, purple, cyan and magenta.
