Centrix Software Continues Growth with Appointment of Former CA Technologies Director

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) - 400 per cent growth leads to Sean McCarry appointed as Sales Director, to continue expansion strategy - Centrix Software forges global partnerships to develop IT channel ecosystem During the last year, Centrix Software has established itself as the leading workspace management expert. It continues to develop following a record breaking FY13 - through 400 per cent revenue growth, and securing major public sector contracts and strategic partnerships within the IT industry.

To support its on-going growth, the company is increasing investment and attracting major talent, with the hiring of new department head, Sales Director, Sean McCarry. Sean has a wealth of experience working in the channel and with large enterprises, having previously been at CA Technologies, SANpulse Technologies, Novell, Computacenter and Dell.

Sean will be responsible for growing the company's workspace management solutions business, available as Software as a Service (SaaS) and on-premise options. As well as continuing to build a strategic and proactive partner ecosystem, including strategic alliances, resellers and managed service providers. He will also lead business and sales development to drive future business with new customers both directly and via the partner ecosystem, as well as ensuring operational efficiencies.

Centrix Software has alliances with a number of leading software vendors and services organisations. These include Microsoft; Exoprise, a US partner that delivers add-on monitoring and enablement tools for Microsoft Office 365; Computacenter, Europe's leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services and Trustmarque, a market-leading technology solutions provider.

"It's an exciting time for workspace management", said Sean. "Usage analytics and workspace aggregation can help companies make workspaces more efficient and cost-optimised, while giving users the devices and applications they want at the same time." He continued, "This also presents a huge opportunity for the channel as organisations look towards differentiating their managed service offerings and supporting customer's requirements for new consumption models including cloud-based services." Over the last 12 months, Centrix Software has more than doubled its number of customers, as usage becomes recognised as a unique and compelling value generator. The demand for workspace analytics, profiling and next generation workspace delivery platforms have all contributed to generating this outstanding growth. In January, Gartner named Centrix Software as one of its five representative workspace aggregator providers.

Lisa Hammond, CEO at Centrix Software said, "At Centrix Software we take great pride in our people, with each and every one being a specialist, who makes a key contribution to current and future success. Sean will be a significant addition to our management team, especially at this very exciting stage of development.

She concluded, "Over the last year we've welcomed some fantastic customers to our company who have saved millions of pounds by finding out which software applications their employees are really using. With the increasing drive towards cloud computing and BYOD, as well as the on-going requirement to modernise desktop estates (with Microsoft Windows XP and Office 2003 still around in quite a few organisations) making the right decisions about workspaces is even more complex - and vital." Notes to Editors: Centrix Software is a workspace management expert, providing user applications, data, configuration and platform to an end-point device in response to user-driven demands, including BYOD and self-service. Its usage analytics engine: WorkSpace iQ, enables workspace management decisions, while its workspace aggregator: WorkSpace Universal, provides the orchestration needed to support user choice and experience for cloud, physical and virtual applications on any device, while enabling IT to innovate and manage within a secure corporate environment.

Founded as a consultancy in 1997, Centrix Software's in-depth usage analytics and aggregation solutions have driven optimised workspace management across leading organisations. This has saved millions in IT costs across the banking and securities, insurance, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, energy and utilities, and public sectors.
