Violin Memory and ADN Sign Distribution Agreement


SANTA CLARA, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Violin Memory®, Inc., (NYSE:VMEM), a leader in persistent memory-based storage solutions, today announced that the ADN Group, one of the fastest growing value-added distributors in Europe, will distribute Violin solutions in the DACH region which includes Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The ADN Group provides value-added services and support to more than 4,800 customers and offers a broad product and service portfolio that includes server-based computing, desktop and storage virtualization, cloud computing solutions, thin clients, and security and storage solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Bochum, Germany-based ADN will resell the complete portfolio of Violin solutions, including 6000 Series flash memory arrays, memory appliances and Violin Maestro™ and Symphony™ software. Violin solutions are designed to meet the performance, availability and scalability requirements of the most demanding database and mission-critical applications, virtual environments and big data solutions in corporate data centers.
