whiteCryption and Nok Nok Labs Team Up to Deliver Increased Application and Authentication Security

SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--

Nok Nok Labs, an innovator in modern authentication and founding member of the Fast IDentity Alliance (FIDO), announced today that it will integrate the whiteCryptionTM Cryptanium line of products with its new NNL S3 Authentication Suite, the first centralized platform that will enable the usage of a broad range of FIDO ReadyTM devices from a single, unified infrastructure. whiteCryptionTM is the leading provider of application code and data protection.

Nok Nok Labs will integrate the Cryptanium product suite with its NNL™ Multifactor Authentication Client (MFAC) with support for Android, iOS, and Microsoft (News - Alert) Windows devices, which enables users to authenticate to any application using the existing security capabilities of their mobile devices. This integration will strengthen the security of its application, sensitive data and cryptographic keys. The integration of the Cryptanium technology extends Nok Nok Labs' application security profiles, which are also able to leverage Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), Secure Elements (SEs), and Trusted Platform Modules (TPMs), where available.

"Following the launch of our S3 Suite, we are pleased to announce this technology alliance with whiteCryption," said Rajiv Dholakia, VP of Products, Nok Nok Labs. "We selected the Cryptanium line of products based on whiteCryption's leading security experience and ease-of-integration solutions. By deepening our strategic relationship with whiteCryption, we can address additional customer and partner use cses related to our core business."

The whiteCryption product line includes Cryptanium Code Protection and Cryptanium Secure Key Box (News - Alert). Cryptanium Code Protection delivers a high degree of security by applying effective integrity protection, code obfuscation, anti-piracy, and anti-debug techniques to application source code. Cryptanium Secure Key Box is a unique white-box library designed to hide and protect cryptographic keys at all times.

"Following the recent spate of attacks reported in the news, not just security focused companies, but large corporations, financial institutions, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) are looking to secure application code and data," said Thorsten Held, General Manager, whiteCryption. "We look forward to success with Nok Nok Labs as they look to deploy their S3 Suite to meet the needs of the modern computing ecosystem."

The NNL S3 Authentication Suite enables the next generation of authentication for Internet-scale applications and services. While improving the user experience and unifying authentication silos, the S3 Suite reduces the cost and complexity of authentication infrastructure. With a flexible and extensible architecture, the S3 Suite provides risk-appropriate authentication capabilities for a wide range of applications.
