Skybox Security Announces Skybox View Enterprise Suite 7.0

Skybox Security, the leading provider of risk analytics for cyber security, today announced the achievement of a record milestone for integrations with network devices and security management systems, continuing Skybox Security's lead as the most comprehensive context-aware analytics solution for enterprise IT security. With the release of the Skybox View 7.0 risk analytics platform, Skybox now integrates data from 77 different vendor devices into one accurate model of the network security infrastructure. Skybox Security's comprehensive integration allows security teams to effectively analyze, prioritize and eliminate cyber security risks. The new integrations include IT-GRC solutions, a SCADA network security device, asset management systems and more.

Integration with a wide variety of management systems enables Skybox Security to provide context-aware risk assessments and remediation workflows specific to its customers' environments, using information on asset criticality, policy compliance requirements and business metrics to deliver relevant risk intelligence and actionable mitigation recommendations.

Skybox Security enhancements include integration support for these products:

• RSA Archer GRC: This integration feeds prioritized vulnerability assessments from Skybox Risk Control, and firewall/network policy compliance exceptions from Skybox Firewall Assurance and Skybox Network Assurance directly into the RSA (News - Alert) Archer Threat Management Application. This allows users to report on vulnerabilities affecting their business critical assets in one central dashboard. Users can assign ownership to the individual issues, track remediation efforts or accept the associated business risk.
• Symantec Control Compliance Suite: This integration with Symantec's (News - Alert) IT-GRC framework and end-point products enables customers to automate enterprise-wide compliance assessment, with Skybox evaluating the compliance status of all network devices - routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers - and Symantec assessing the compliance status of all end points. Jointly, Skybox and Symantec send any policy violations with industry and best practice standards such as HIPAA, NIST, PCI (News - Alert)-DSS (and more) to the Symantec Control Compliance Suite dashboards and reports to provide an enterprise-wide view of compliance.
• McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee (News - Alert) ePO): This integration allows Skybox Security soluions to import asset and end-point protection information from McAfee e-Policy Orchestrator, giving greater context about end-point security controls for accurate risk and vulnerability assessment.
