The Standard Names John Hooper Vice President, Human ResourcesPORTLAND, Ore. --(Business Wire)-- Standard Insurance Company ("The Standard"), today announced that John Hooper will join the company as vice president of Human Resources effective March 17. Hooper comes to The Standard from the Weyerhaeuser Company where he served as senior vice president, Human Resources, since 2008. Before that, he was vice president, Human Resources Operations, from 2006 to 2008. Prior to working with Weyerhaeuser, John founded People Management Resources, a management consulting firm specializing in leadership effectiveness, best practices, huma resources strategy and change management. He also held leadership positions at Eaton Corporation (News - Alert) and Tektronix.
