Google Assigned Patent(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By Targeted News Service ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 16 -- Google, Mountain View, Calif., has been assigned a patent (8,643,678) developed by two co-inventors for methods, systems, apparatus and computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium "for generating shadows." The co-inventors are Aaron Jacobs, Ashfield, Australia, and Benjamin C. Appleton, Summer Hill, Australia. The patent application was filed on Dec. 22, 2010 (12/975,690).
