Anne Arundel Medical Center names new chief strategy officer [Capital (Annapolis, MD)](Capital (Annapolis, MD) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Paula Widerlite has been named chief strategy officer at Anne Arundel Medical Center, making her the leader of the hospital's planning and business development efforts. In this role, Widerlite will oversee marketing, wellness, community outreach, as well as legislative and government affairs. She previously spent 21 years at Adventist HealthCare, where she helped it grow into the state's fourth largest health system. "Paula brings valuable insight to share with our leadership team, including her success and commitment in partnering with physicians," AAMC president and CEO Tori Bayless said in a statement. "Her experience will help our organization identify future strategies and growth opportunities in the changing healthcare environment." Widerlite is a graduate and board member of Leadership Montgomery and is a member of the Maryland Hospital Association Legislative and Regulatory Policy Council.
