Etisalat offers easy payment plans for smartphones [Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates)](Khaleej Times (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Etisalat, the UAE's leading telecommunication services provider, has introduced 12-month easy payment plans for the purchase of the latest smartphones, with zero per cent interest. The telecom major has tied up with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates Islamic Bank, Emirates NBD, National Bank of Abu Dhabi and Mashreq Bank to provide both post and pre-paid customers with an alternative, option for purchasing premium smartphones and devices. Customers can buy the latest Apple, Samsung, BlackBerry, Nokia or Huawei smartphones using the banks' credit card and avail of a 12-month installment scheme. Khaled El Khouly, chief marketing officer at Etisalat UAE, said: "The UAE's smartphone penetration is among the highest in the world, but we understand some consumers may be unable to purchase their desired phone.
